Workplace/ machine numbers
Workplace/ machine numbers and capacity/ machine groups are interpreted as alphanumeric field:
- alphanumeric field of a length of 8; aligned to the left; missing rounding precisions completed by blanks.
Please note:
HYDRA does not support umlauts, blanks and special characters (e.g. “%”, ”ß“, “*”, “\”, “/”, “|”) since they cannot be entered at the shop floor terminals and/or are not supported by MOC. The signs ";", " “ ", and " ’ " must not be used since they are often interpreted as comment or separation signs and will thus lead to unwanted effects.
Lower case letters should not be used in general.
The SYSTEM entry as workplace/ machine number is reserved for HYDRA and must not be used.
HYDRA order number
Sometimes a distinction of the order number is made at the HYDRA data model and at the interface.
Order number
The order number (AUNR field) contains the pure order number as it is known in the PPS system and transferred to HYDRA. The order number is defined in the HYDRA basic settings; at each new installation it has a length of 8 characters.
Operation number
The operation number (AGNR field) clearly identifies a defined work step in an order. The operation number is defined in the HYDRA basic settings; at each new installation it has a length of 4 characters.
MES order number
The MES order number (ANR field) summarizes the order and operation number as well as the sequence number, if any, (if the license has been purchased) from the PPS system. This means that its length results from the sum of the numbers' individual lengths.
The total length must not exceed 25 digits. If DOS-based terminals are used, the total length must not exceed 16 digits.
The following elements are important regarding order and/or operation numbers:
· Ideally the characters "0" to "9" should be used
· Only the letters "A" - "Z" (capital letters) and "-" are allowed. Lower case letters must not be used.
· Blanks within the numbers must not be used; i.e. the order and/or operation numbers must be occupied up to the defined rounding precision with the characters "0" to "9" and/or "A" - "Z"; in case of doubts the numbers must be completed with leading "0".
· For order and/ or operation numbers HYDRA does not support umlauts, blanks and special characters (e.g. ”%“, “ß“, “*“, “\“, “/“, “|“, “_“, “?“”) since they cannot be entered at the shop floor terminals and/or are not supported by MOC.
General notes about supported characters
For all alphanumeric fields, HYDRA does not support specific special characters. Such as: "%", "\", "/", "|" since they cannot be entered into the shop floor terminals and will not be supported by MOC.
The characters ";" (semicolon), " " (blank), “,” (comma) and " ’ " (apostrophe) must not be used since they are often interpreted as comment or separation signs and will thus lead to unwanted effects.
