Use options
The EIS-ERP interface is used to connect MES systems to superior ERP systems. This covers the following general requirements:
· Default interface for the adoption of order sequencing data from the ERP system and confirmation/upload of recorded postings in the production.
· Rollout-capable solution.
· Close interfacing of HYDRA and PPS in order to account for the increasing sensitivity of the integrated solution.
· Maintenance options and administration of the interface.
This document describes the principles of the data exchange on the logical level and the system components that are required to this end. In addition, it offers a detailed overview of the interface's structure.
Implementation notes
Use the interface if
· you wish to automate the exchange of order and operation data between ERP and MES;
· you wish to automate the exchange of confirmations recorded in the MES to the ERP.
Integration
The interface constitutes the basis for the orders and operations administered in BDE. And the data recorded in the BDE/shop floor data collection module in turn, constitute the basis for the confirmation/upload to the ERP system.
